In 2023, Stavropol Agrarian University plans to launch new international double degree programs with higher education institutions from Central Asia. Relevant agreements were reached at the forum “Education. Personnel. Economy".
Within the framework of the program, SSAU, together with the leading agricultural universities of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, intends to join forces in fundamental research in the field of crop production and animal husbandry. Such synergy will allow higher education institutions to use the key advantages of different educational approaches to training specialists in the field of agro-industrial complex.
- The strategic task of the Stavropol Agrarian University is to train personnel in demand by the agricultural industry in any conditions. Joint work with international partners will provide students and professors with mutual access to the best laboratories, technologies and scientific developments. All this will allow us to produce international-level professionals,” said Vladimir Sitnikov, Acting Rector of SSAU.
The double degree program with universities from Central Asia will be able to include student exchange, advanced training of faculty, joint scientific and practical research, foreign internships and practices.
During the forum “Education. Personnel. Economics” Stavropol State Agrarian University has already signed the first cooperation agreements in the scientific and practical sphere with the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies, the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I. Skryabin, as well as the Research and Production Association of Grain and Rice.
