Athletes of SSAU are the winners of the regional championship in weightlifting

The weightlifting championship of the Stavropol Territory was held in Solnechnodolsk. One silver and two bronze medals were won by SSAU athletes.

The championship was attended by 132 strongest athletes of the region from 8 cities and municipalities. Under the guidance of the coach of the first category, teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Evgeny Nesmeyanov, the weightlifters of the Stavropol State Agrarian University won prizes. The silver medal in the 109 kg category was won by a master student of the Faculty of Engineering Technology Azamat Makiyev. Bronze medals were given to a first-year student of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture Natalya Esina and a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sports, a coach of the highest category, Honored Coach of Russia of the National Powerlifting Association Nina Mukhorotova.

This weekend, Nina Vyacheslavovna will also take part in the International Weightlifting Tournament in the older age groups. The tournament will be held in Belarus, in the city of Pinsk.
