From April 8 to April 9, SSAU will host the first Hackathon — a competition for developers, designers, analysts, marketers and other IT specialists. All university students can apply to participate.
The purpose of the Hackathon is to develop a professional community and competencies in the field of information technology, to identify and develop students' knowledge and competencies in the field of mobile application development, to increase the level of use of advanced developments and solutions in the field of information technology in the Stavropol Territory. The organizers are the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education, the Department of Information Technology and the Faculty of Economics. The sponsor is the strategic partner of the university - Rosselkhozbank.
Participants will have to develop a mobile application related to our university. The case solution consists of:
• presentations;
• repository with the program code of the developed prototype;
• demonstrating a prototype application on a test device or on personal devices of experts.
The jury will evaluate the idea of the application, its design, implementation and presentation. Experts from Infocom-S and SmartyCODE will act as experts.
The opening of the Hackathon will take place on April 8 at 10:00 am at the boiling point of SSAU. All students of SSAU who have reached the age of 16 can take part. To do this, they need to unite in teams of 3 to 6 people and apply for participation at the link.
