Scientists from Kazakhstan are studying at SSAU

Professors of Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov came to Stavropol State Agrarian University for an internship at the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology.

The Head of the Department of Technology for the Production of Animal Products, Associate Professor Inna Mikhailovna Brel-Kiseleva, Senior Research Specialist of NIIPB, Associate Professor Kulyai Urazgalievna Suleimanova, Head of the Center of NIIPB, Professor Raushan Miranbaevna Ryshchanova came to study at SSAU. The internship will run until the end of the week on two additional professional advanced training programs: “Innovative and progressive technologies in animal husbandry” and “Characterization of infectious and parasitic systems, as well as monitoring, control and assessment of the risks of the emergence and spread of especially dangerous infectious diseases, management of factors that significantly affecting the health and quality of livestock products.

Practical classes are held in a face-to-face format. SSAU professors share their knowledge and experience on modern methods for assessing the breeding and productive qualities of cattle, assessing genetic anomalies and selecting parent pairs, analyzing and comprehensively optimizing diets using computer programs, assessing milk quality, modern technologies for slaughter and meat processing, quality requirements and raw material safety. As part of the advanced training, scientists from Kazakhstan will visit VNIIOK, the North Caucasian Interregional Veterinary Laboratory, and the Tukhachevsky Market Veterinary Sanitary Expertise Laboratory.
