The Stavropol State Agrarian University has the first landfill of intelligent hydrodynamic systems in the North Caucasus Federal District

17.03.2023

The opening ceremony of the laboratory took place within the framework of the international forum " Education. Human resources. Economy". The start of the work of the unique training ground was given by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, First Deputy Director General of the non-governmental Institute of Development "Innopraktika" Natalia Popova, Director of Development and Innovation of the industrial partner of the SSAU - the company "TEPLOKOM" Vitaly Stepanov and the acting rector of the SSAU Vladimir Sitnikov.

The landfill "intelligent hydrodynamic systems and complexes" of the SSAU became the first specialized scientific and practical laboratory in the North Caucasus Federal District and one of the largest in the country.

The composition of the landfill laboratory includes a really functioning certified highly intelligent hydrodynamic complex in the form of a unified stationary flow installation with certified reference equipment that allows performing a full range of metrological tests in the field of hydrodynamics.

The main purpose of the landfill is to conduct tests, calibration (supply with a measuring scale) and verification of various water and liquid flow converters (meters). The installations also allow measuring the values of flow, mass and volume of water by static weighing and by direct comparison, and on the basis of these metrological tests to issue a conclusion on the operability and suitability for use in commercial accounting systems.

All the equipment installed at the landfill was designed and manufactured by a group of scientists of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering together with partners of the university — engineers of the company TEPLOKOM. The verification installations have already been certified and allow the necessary work to be carried out.

The creation of a new landfill became possible thanks to the state program "Priority 2030". More than 7.5 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the laboratory, design and manufacture of equipment. TEPLOKOM, the university's industrial partner, invested more than 2.5 million rubles.

It should be noted that 90% of the hydrodynamic complex, including the information-measuring and control system, is of domestic production.
