A seminar on geodesy and cartography was held at SSAU

An open seminar on the topic "Geodesy and Cartography" was held at the Boiling Point of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, organized by the Department of Land Management and Cadastre together with the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Rosreestr Administration for the Stavropol Territory.

The event was attended by students of the direction "Land Management and Cadastre", as well as employees of the Department of Land Management and Cadastre: Head of the Department, Doctor of Geography, Associate Professor Alexander Loshakov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Candidate of Geography, Professor Elena Pismennaya, Candidate of Geography, Associate Professor Stanislav Odintsov , senior lecturers Lyudmila Kipa and Dmitry Ivannikov, assistants Maxim Filimonov and Lada Stus. Natalya Stepanenko, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Rosreestr Office for the Stavropol Territory, acted as an invited guest at the seminar.

The following issues were covered during the event:

• Geodetic support: geodetic networks and state coordinate systems;

• Federal portal of spatial data;

• Unified electronic cartographic basis;

• State program of the Russian Federation "National System of Spatial Data".
