Students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University paid tribute to veterans of the Great Patriotic War

On the eve of the Orthodox holiday of Bright Easter, students and staff of the university took part in cleaning the territory of the Danilovsky cemetery in the city of Stavropol.

The cleaning of the graves of veterans of the Great Patriotic War was organized by students of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education under the guidance of teachers Pavel Kharlo and Sergei Sidorov together with members of the military sports club "Rassvet" under the guidance of Maxim Karant. During the event, garbage, fallen leaves and dry branches were collected and removed from the cemetery.

“Beautification of the territories is a tribute to the memory of the generation that went through the war, to their courage and resilience. This concern shows that the younger generation honors the memory of their ancestors. It was nice to look at the work of students who performed it with a sense of deep responsibility. We will always remember those who, at the cost of their lives, gave us peace and freedom,” said Pavel Kharlo, mentor of the project “I have the honor”, teacher of the faculty of secondary vocational education.
