Belarus hosted the International Weightlifting Tournament "Open Cup of Belarus" in the older age groups. Nina Mukhorotova, teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, won a landslide victory.
367 athletes from Belarus, Uzbekistan, Russia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and Israel took part in the "Open Cup of Belarus". Stavropol Agrarian University was adequately presented by teacher Nina Mukhorotova. In the 64 kg category, the athlete showed the result of 50 kg in the snatch and 66 kg in the clean and jerk, which brought her victory and a gold medal.
- This is the second international competition held by Belarus during the period of Russia's suspension from international competitions. The meeting is warm not only from Belarusians, but also from other countries. I was very glad to meet an athlete from Israel, earlier I participated with him in the Israeli and European championships in Eilat and Bat Yam, - said Nina Mukhorotova, teacher of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
On April 15, Nina Vyacheslavovna will represent the university at the Russian Cup in the city of Bugulma.
