Students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty of SSAU took a master class on personal financial planning. The event was organized by the University’s partner, Sovcombank Life insurance company.
During the meeting, employees of the insurance company noted that personal financial planning is one of the modern trends in the promotion of insurance services. The students were told about the rules for building a personal financial plan and the most popular types of insurance that are used in the country. In particular, the topics of the difference between risk insurance and accumulative insurance, the advantages and disadvantages of these types were touched upon. Also, the company's specialists gave a practical example of calculating the amount of insurance payment, on the basis of which the mechanism for determining insurance rates and factors affecting the amount of payments was outlined.
— Life insurance is a topic that affects everyone, regardless of age, social status or occupation. No one knows what tomorrow may bring. That is why it is so important to have insurance in case of unforeseen events. However, despite the obvious importance of life insurance, many people still do not pay due attention to it, - said Yulia Klishina, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance, Credit and Insurance.
