SSAU hosted an international conference on economics in the agro-industrial complex

The Accounting and Finance Department of Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference “April Scientific Readings named after Professor Viktor Arkadyevich Pipko”.

Viktor Arkadyevich is a Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Sciences of Pedagogical Education, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, SSAU, Candidate of Economic Sciences and author of more than 150 scientific papers and educational publications. The works of Professor Pipko had a significant impact on the development of accounting science in the agro-industrial complex.

Traditionally, scientists and researchers gather at Stavropol Agrarian University to honor the memory of Viktor Pipko and present scientific reports on economics in agriculture. This year the conference brought together representatives of 8 universities from Nalchik, Kazan, Voronezh, Moscow, Krasnodar, Grodno and Stavropol. The main purpose of the event is to familiarize scientists and practitioners with the results of the latest scientific achievements and organize constructive discussions on accounting and analytical support for various sectors of the economy.

The work of the conference was organized in the following sections:

• Theory and methodology of risk-oriented accounting and analytical systems

• Financial reporting of agrarian formations: problems of preparation and formation of reliable information in the context of modern challenges and threats

• Digitalization of accounting and analytical processes in the agro-industrial complex

• Audit and risk management in the financial management of agricultural units

• Strategies for the modern development of accounting, auditing and economic expertise in the digital economy

• Actual problems of accounting and tax consulting for companies in various sectors of the economy

• The role of accounting in ensuring the strategic development of the agro-industrial complex

• Improvement of accounting and information technologies in the field of agribusiness enterprise management

• Methods of statistical measurement and observation of socio-economic phenomena

• Accounting and analytical aspects of economic security of the organization

— The conference is held, first of all, with the aim of organizing communication, dialogue of specialists, scientists, graduate students, students and practitioners. We thank everyone for their participation, indifference and active work for the development and prosperity of cooperation. Viktor Arkadyevich carried out a systematic approach in his life in everything: in work, in science and in everyday affairs. Until the very last day, he looked forward, generously sharing his ideas and thoughts with his colleagues, students and followers who strive to bring them to life. He will forever remain in our memory as a talented teacher, like-minded person, wise and creative scientist, a unique organizer and ideological inspirer of new projects,” said Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Alexander Frolov.
