Interfaculty conference “Great Women of Great Russia” was held at SSAU

For the third time, a conference dedicated to the exploits of women during the Great Patriotic War was held at the Faculty of Economics of Stavropol State Agrarian University.

The conference was attended by students of Electrical Energy, Accounting and Finance, as well as the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education, presented reports on women heroes of the Great Patriotic War: Marina Raskova, Valentina Grizodubova, Polina Osipenko, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, Evdokia Bershanskaya, Maria Oktyabrskaya, Lyudmila Pavlichenko , Ekaterina Demina, Matryona Nazdracheva and Lydia Litvyak. The event was accompanied by creative performances.

“The main goal of the event is the patriotic education of young people, the transmission from generation to generation of the memory of the dedication and heroism of women who defended their Motherland! Each of us needs to remember the Great Feat of the Great People!” - noted the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Diana Kenina.
