Stavropol State Agrarian University hosted a scientific and practical conference “Directions for improving the efficiency of agribusiness enterprises: identification and reduction of losses” for representatives of agricultural enterprises.
The large-scale event brought together representatives of science, executive authorities and the business community. Among the guests and speakers are the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory, as well as the regional Fund for the Promotion of Innovative Development.
The main objective of the conference was to exchange best practices for implementing lean production tools at agribusiness enterprises in order to increase the efficiency of their activities.
During the conference, leaders and employees of industry companies shared their own experience in implementing technologies that have significantly reduced production losses. In particular, the cases of the partners of Stavropol State Agrarian University - JSC Energomera Agroholding, LLC Agroalliance Invest, LLC Solnechny Dar and LLC My Dream were analyzed.
In turn, scientists from Stavropol State Agrarian University presented a number of scientific papers on lean technologies and methods for increasing productivity. In particular, Professor of the Basic Department of Private Zootechnics, Animal Breeding and Breeding, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Elena Epimakhova spoke about methods for reducing losses by optimizing efficiency in poultry farming, and the head of the laboratory "Fuels and Lubricants and Power Systems for Automotive Engines", Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Dmitry Gritsai in his report focused on the main quality indicators of light fuels used in the agro-industrial complex and methods for their control.
The moderators were the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor Olga Nikolaevna Kusakina and Head of the Department of Management and Management Technologies, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Svetlana Vladimirovna Levushkina.
