Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in writing the International historical dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War.
The action is held in order to attract the general public to the study of the history of the Great Patriotic War and to improve historical literacy. Department of Philosophy and History was the moderator.
The regional platform of StSAU worked with the inclusion of live broadcast from the Victory Museum in Moscow. Students answered questions about the events and heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
- Since the beginning of the action for many years StSAU has been a platform for all international and all-Russian historical events. Our students always show high result of knowledge in history of our Motherland. Exactly this knowledge helps students to be guided correctly in modern conditions, allows to avoid moments of falsification of historical events and to follow the state course. It should be noted that only studying the history of their homeland and participating in patriotic events, such as Victory Dictation, forms the civic position and becomes a patriot, - said the head of the Department of Philosophy and History, Doctor of History, Associate Professor Eugene Tufanov.
The Dictation is organized by the "United Russia" all-Russian political party, the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society, the "Volunteers of Victory" all-Russian social movement, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), the all-Russian social organization "Russian Union of Veterans," the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor).
