During the event, scientists and heads of agricultural enterprises of the Stavropol Territory discussed the features of growing crops on irrigation, issues of designing irrigation and drainage systems, as well as the current state of irrigated lands. The participants paid special attention to the use of modern technologies in land reclamation, since one of the most important problems of the present time is the rational use of water resources.
- A significant part of the territory of our region is characterized by arid conditions. Insufficient rainfall, heat and low air humidity do not provide optimal conditions for the growth and development of moisture-loving crops.
