Features of structure and the content of professional tourist education and their compliance to modern requirements of a labor market were discussed; professional standards to a profession; interaction of the state, industry of tourism and educational institutions; training for the Olympic Games and experience of legal preparation of students of tourist higher education institutions. The western colleagues shared experience of teaching of tourist disciplines. The concept of continuous education in the tourism sphere became the final document of conference.
Within conference solemn opening of educational and training hotel "Veles" of the Russian new university took place. The first meeting of Council for training in the tourism sphere, which task – coordination of work of public authorities, the educational and scientific organizations, the organizations of the tourist industry concerning training and to improvement of quality management of tourist services became an important event of conference.
