The handing of grateful letters and presents to volunteer students

February 14th, 2013: the Administration of Stavropol held the handing of grateful letters and presents to volunteer students who took part in a social project “Advanced computer skills” for seniors in the IT Academy.

Socially unprotected citizen are being taught the computer courses for the fourth time in IT Academy. These are people with reduced capabilities, disadvantaged retirees, mothers with disabled children. This is a unique charitable project and an example of social partnership which is realized by the Administration of Stavropol, the Institution of Additional Professional Education “IT Academy” and Stavropol State Agrarian University .

The students from the Faculty of Economics Anna Omelchenko, Victor Mudrakov, Roman Shabanov, Valeria Dalvadyants, Valeria Suyazova and Dmitriy Fitisov have helped to train 45 retirees. For students it was a great experience not only in computer skills teaching but also in developing the ability to find a common language with each of their students and ability of willing to be required and useful for other people.
