On February 15, 2013 the International Conference “Trends and problems of vegetable growing in 2013” was held on the base of Stavropol State Agrarian University with the participation of LLC "Agrosphera". The conference speakers were the Dean of the Agronomical Faculty and Plant Protection Faculty, Doctor of Agricultural Science Esaulko A.N., the Head of LLC “Agrosphera” A.P. Portnov, the Head of Land Reclamation and Vegetable Growing Department of Stavropol Terrotory Ministry of Agriculture M.A. Dyrenko, Managing Director of Cora Seeds srl Company (Italy) Maurizio Bachi and company specialist Paolo Villoni.
Technologies for vegetable and melon crops were discussed at the conference. There were the Heads of private farms, agronomists and growers not only from Stavropol Territory but from Volgograd, Rostov, Saratov regions, Kalmykia, Dagestan and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
