Opening the ceremony, Vice-Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University I.V. Atanov noted that the university and the company John Deere have long-standing partnership relations that are oriented to training of highly skilled professionals who can work with the modern equipment: "Hundreds of students from the student group" ear "had the opportunity in practice to examine the work of this tractor, taking part in agricultural works on the basis of educational and experimental farm of the university."
HR-Director of John Deere Corporation Elena Fedotova agreed with the importance of future professional’s training: "We believe that the mission of our company is to be loyal to those who are connected with the land. And Russia has the potential to be the breadbasket for the world, which, of course, requires the ability to work with the latest technologies. The choice of your university is caused by the fact that the Stavropol State Agrarian University is a leading educational institution in the strategically important market in South Russia, the University, where the traditions, the high level of teaching staff are combined with the work on modern, innovative equipment."
The guests of the University also met students and answered their questions about the forms of the internship in the company and the requirements for potential employees, as well as told about the equipment which is produced by the corporation John Deere.
