On the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University the students' insurance agency was launched.

On February 27th, 2013 at Stavropol State Agrarian University the cooperation agreement between the University and JSC "Rosgosstrakh" was signed. Within this cooperation the opening of the first and only in Russia the students' insurance agency took place.

«"This is a great event in the life of SSAU, − was emphasized by the Rector of the Stavropol SAU, the professor, the corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the deputy of the Duma of Stavropol Region Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev. − Thanks to our old partner, the main insurance company of Russia JSC "Rosgosstrakh", our students by the time of graduation from educational institution will receive not only profound knowledge, but also practical preparation, and it means the increase of graduates’ competitiveness of higher education institution. We are grateful to JSC "Rosgosstrakh" for the rendered trust and for the choice of our university as a pilot platform for this project".

The director of Stavropol branch, the vice president of JSC "Rosgosstrakh" company Georgi Olegovich Nefertidi in his turn noted that "this platform would never be opened without a personal participation of Vladimir Ivanovich. Students of the University will be able to study technologies of business processes, standards and regulations, and − the main thing − will gain practical experience which will allow to become a well-qualified expert. And we will provide them with a salary which is also very important for students ".

The director of Management on interaction with educational institutions of JSC "Rosgosstrakh" Evgenii Valentinovich Zlobin thanked the Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University - Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev for invaluable contribution to long-term and effective cooperation between the insurance company and the higher education institution, and also noted that the choice of Stavropol State Agrarian University as a launching platform for implementation of the project of student's insurance agencies isn't typical: "We cooperate with more than 300 higher education institutions across Russia, and I am sure that your University will give a head start to many leading economic higher education institutions of the country and in the organization of educational process and in equipment. It allows you not to declare, but realize cooperation between business and science".

The First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Region Lyudmila Nikolaevna Hokhryakova noted that the government of our Region welcomes close cooperation between the University and business structures which will allow graduates of Stavropol SAU to become the staff of successfully developing companies.

It was declared that International conference on insurance will be held on the basis of Stavropol State Agrarian University next year .
