Students of Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in the championship of Stavropol Territory in weightlifting, held on the 2nd of March 2013, in Izobilniy. The athletes of SSAU received seven medals, including three gold ones which are received by the students of the Faculty of Electrification Denis Babakov and Sergey Izotov and the student of the Faculty of Technological Management Alexander Goncharov. The student of the Faculty of Technological Management Ruslan Poklad and the student of the Faculty of Economics Ivan Chemerkin have come back with silver medals. The student of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Ilya Baranov and the student of the Faculty of Technological Management Dmitry Azarov received bronze medals. The weightlifting team of SSAU had been trained by the coach Evgeniy Borisovich Nesmiyanov.
