The event was opened by the Dean of the Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Doctor of Veterinary Science, Professor Valery A. Belyaev. The Vice Dean of the Faculty, the chairman of the council of young scientists and specialists of the Faculty, Cand. Sc. Biology, Evgeniya V. Safonovoskaya gave a report about the laboratory facilities of the faculty, the main opportunities and prospects of cooperation.
The vice-chairman of the young scientists and specialists Council of federal public institution of healthcare "Stavropol Anti-Plague Institute of Rospotrebnadzor", laboratory chief of morbid anatomy of specially dangerous infectious diseases, Cand. Sc. Biology Dmitriy Grigorievich Ponomarenko came up with the proposal about the possibilities of joint cooperation among the members of the Center for Biomedical Problems, which includes federal public institution of healthcare "Stavropol Anti-Plague Institute of Rospotrebnadzor", FSAEI HPE North Caucasian Federal University, FSBEI HPE Stavropol State Agrarian University, SEI HPE Stavropol State Medical University.
Participation in the seminar was attended by 32 representatives of the above mentioned organizations.
Also, as part of the seminar a sightseeing tour on the scientific veterinary diagnostic and medical center of the University was carried out, where it was possible to see unique modern equipment and scientific achievements of the University scientists. During the tour director of the center, Doctor of Biological Sciences Alexander Y. Krivoruchko introduced the guests with the structure and operation of laboratories.
