Three teams of Stavropol State Agrarian University participated in the festival of regional league of the club of the cheerful and sharp-witted "Caucasus" of the International union of the Club of the cheerful and sharp-witted. It took place on the 5th of April, 2013 in Stavropol. The league is usually based in Pyatigorsk – the capital of North Caucasian Federal District but this year has moved to the regional capital. The editors are Taymuraz Tania ( champion of the major league of the club of the cheerful and sharp-witted of team’s line-up "Sledge from Abkhazia") and Zaur Baytsaev (the vice-champion of the cheerful and sharp-witted league of team’s line-up "Pyramid").
24 teams participated in the festival not only from the towns of North Caucasian Federal District, but also from the South and even from the Central Russia. These are teams from Stavropol, Pyatigorsk, Nevinnomyssk, Nalchik, Vladikavkaz, Kaluga, Ingushetia, the Karachai-Cherkess Republic, Dagestan, Krasnodar Krai.
All participants of the festival presented only one performance "Greeting" on which passing to the season depended.
Teams of SSAU – The Faculty of Electrification, "Eleven friends of Korshun" (the name is formed from the surname of the President of Stavropol league of cheerful and sharp-witted club V.S.Korshun) and "The national team of Agrarian" − performed successfully and passed the season. The Stavropol State Agrarian University − the only higher education institution in the federal district which could present three teams which have passed in the following stage of the league.
