4th year student of the Agronomy Faculty of Stavropol State Agrarian University David Bejanyan took part as a member of Russian national team in European Championship in weightlifting which was held from 9 till 14 of April 2013 in Tirana (Albania).
David Bejanyan, performing in the weight class 105 kg, scored a total of 411 kg snatch. Lifting a weight of 181 kg in snatch and 230 kg in jerk, he won hands-down victory. A Russian team was the first in the European Championship in the team score.
The coach of Europe Champion is a teacher of Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, honored coach of Russia V.N. Kniga.
