Volleyball team of Stavropol State Agrarian University won the Student Volleyball League championship of Russia among the men's teams in the first division. The final stage, which was attended by four teams from the Western and Eastern Conferences, was held from 9 till 14-th of April in 2013 at the Sports Palace in Saransk. Competitors were divided into two subgroups. The team of Stavropol State Agrarian University performed in class A, where they won three times with the score 3-0 and held a victory over three teams CSU (Cheboksary), PSU (Penza) and GASU (Gorno-Altaisk). In the semifinals, SSAU won with the score 3-1 and vanquish athletes from the Trans-Baikal State University (Chita).
At the final our volleyball team resisted the team of Mordovia State University. Volleyball players in intense battles could win with the score 3-1 and become the winner of the final stage of student volleyball league in Russia among men's teams of the first division.
Volleyball team of Stavropol State Agrarian University also received a “ticket” to the Super League Volleyball Student Russian sports season 2014.
