On 10 April 2013 there was the second round of universities of the South and the North Caucasian Federal Districts competition among students “Accounting of modern Russian economy” in
Rostov-on-Don on the base of Rostov State University of Railway Transport. As a result of the first audition, which was held in the form of on-line computer-based testing on 5 March 2013, team of Stavropol State Agrarian University obtained the necessary number of points and qualified for the second round.
With the support of the University Rector, Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev on 10 April 2013 a team of students took internal participation in the second round of the accounting competition in Rostov-on-Don. The team included Anastasia Pechnikova (captain), Anastasia Tsybulkin, Anna Nemirovchenko, Svetlana Denisova, Ksenia Krylova, Elvira Kordyukova. Students were accompanied and supported by4-year students` curators: Associate Professor of " Bookkeeping financial accounting" N. Shylova and A. Frolov. The support group of 6 people went there together with the team.
There were seven participating teams (Rostov State Transport University, Rostov State University of Civil Engineering, Rostov State Economic University, Stavropol State Agrarian University, Kabardino-Balkaria State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov, Shakhtinskii branch of the South-Russian State Technical University, the South-Russian State University of Economics and Service. Each team prepared video about the city, the university, the faculty and members of the team. Our participants showed a high level of expertise in the field of accounting and taxation, accounting and financial reporting, normative regulation of accounting. This allowed them to win the second place and honorable right to hold the competition in 2014 on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. In Stavropol, our team brought the cup of the winner, diplomas and memorable gift - a watch with a logo of the competition. Congratulations to the team members with a decent victory and wish them not to rest on their oars!
