3rd year student of the faculty of agronomy Ruben Tarverdyan won a silver medal in kickboxing championship of Russia in the weight category of 67 kg. The competition took place from 15 to 20 April, 2013 in Krasnoyarsk.
After four fights R. Tarverdyan conceded the victory only in the last final fight. After the championship Ruben entered the Russian national kickboxing team and now he will represent our country on the world stage.
The sportsman is trained by the teacher of the department of physical education and sport of Stavropol State Agrarian University V.S. Lychagin.
