Students of the Stavropol SAU took part in the VII open tournament on the weightlifting, devoted to memory of V. D. Okopnogo. It was in May 18, 2013 in Nevinnomyssk. Following the results of performances athletes of agrarian university received 6 medals. Among them two gold-medals − they were received by students of faculty of technological management Alexander Goncharov and Ruslan Poklad. Silver medals got the student of faculty of technological management Dmitry Martyanov and the student of economics department Ivan Chemerkin. Medals for the third place won the student of veterinary medicine faculty Ilya Baranov and the student of technological management faculty Vladislav Tarasenko.
