On a joint academic council congratulated on anniversary academician Lyudmila Nikolaevna Petrova.

On May 30, 2013 was special joint meeting of the Academic council of the SSAU and the Stavropol agricultural research institute devoted to anniversary of Lyudmila Nikolaevna Petrova the academician of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the professor of the department of plant growing, forage production, botany and dendrology of agronomical faculty. There were congratulations from Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Krai A.V. Martychev, rector of the SSAU V.I.Trukhachev, director of SARI V.V. Kulintsev, representatives of the faculty of SSAU, heads of farm enterprises of the Stavropol krai and also numerous colleagues, students and friends.

The rector of the SSAU, the corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, congratulated Lyudmila Nikolaevna and thanked for the help and support, and also did the governor of Stavropol Krai Valery Georgiyevich Zerenkov and the chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Krai Yury Vasilyevich Beliy.

The the III degree medal of the governor of Stavropol Krai "For Valorous Labour" was handed to Lyudmila Nikolaevna by the Minister of Agriculture of Stavropol Krai Alexander Vasilyevich Martychev. He noted that the scientific school founded by L.N. Petrova, plays to the Stavropol krai an important role in crop research development.

The corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences Alexey Anatolyevich Zavalin congratulated L.N. Petrova on behalf of presidium of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences and expressed sincere gratitude for the professionalism of the scientist.

The head of SARI Valery Vladimirovich Kulintsev noted that successful development of research institute was originated by academician L.N. Petrova. He also declared that the new grade of soft wheat will be named after Lyudmila Nikolaevna Petrova. In the response speech Lyudmila Nikolaevna thanked the SSAU and the SARI and mentioned that it is necessary to have a respect for science and education.
