The team from Stavropol State Agrarian university got a victory in a national stage of the international competition "The best student's innovative food product. “ECOTROPHELIA Europe 2013". In total students from 28 Russian higher education institutions took part in the competition. In October students of SSAU will go to Cologne (Germany) to protect honor of Russia and will present a line of foodstuff "Good Health" there.
A group of authors consider that it is necessary to introduce qualitatively new products making favorable impact on an organism of a person. Stevia can be one of components in such products. This plant tends to be one of the most perspective sweeteners which replaces non-organic sugar substitutes. Taking into account favorable impact of stevia components on a human body researchers are observing whether it is possible to use it in various foodstuff: flour, dairy and meat.
Students from the Stavropol Krai investigated and optimized a way of receiving an extract from a natural sweetener "Stevia VIT" with use of water, milk and serum. The line of healthy food products "Good health" with stevia use as a sweetener is developed.
