On June 13, 2013 in the Stavropol SAU joint meeting of board of the Ministry of Energy, the industry and communication of Stavropol Krai and council on the industry at the edge Government took place. Representatives of the government and the Duma of Stavropol Krai, the leading industrial enterprises and higher education institutions took part in it.
During action topical issues of development of branch were discussed: "About implementation of I to III levels investment projects in 2013" and "About work on staffing of the organizations of an industrial complex of Stavropol Krai". Opening meeting, the rector of the Stavropol state agrarian university, the corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev noted that the higher education institution perfectly copes with tasks which are set for it by employers, and prepares students for work at the enterprises.
At meeting it was noted that now in the region some large investment projects are realized. Among them – start-up of production of melamine on JSC "Nevinnomyssky Azot", commissioning of plant on a sandwich panels production on JSC "Lissant-Yug" and start-up of production of the zinced metal profile for gypsum-cardboard sheet installation at buildings and different function premises construction and repair on JSC "Nevinnomyssky profil".
The board paid a lot of attention also to a problem of personnel deficiency at Stavropol Territory. Shortage of experts becomes a brake in industry development, the solution of problems of modernization, introduction of new technologies and production improvement of quality. In this regard participants of meeting noted the need of close interaction between higher education institutions and the enterprises.
