On June 19, 2013 in the Stavropol state agrarian university the VI ball of the press of Stavropol Krai passed. Journalists from practically all regional mass media became the audience and participants of a professional holiday.
Participants of a ball were greeted by the rector of the Stavropol state agrarian university, the corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the professor, the deputy of the Duma of Stavropol Krai Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev: "We were glad when the offer from the Union of journalists of Stavropol Krai arrived to hold a press ball on the basis of agrarian university. We understand your work and we realize that it is possible to move today only when one is understanded, criticized, adressed by journalists. And I on behalf of our many thousands collective am glad to welcome the press of Stavropol Krai at the Stavropol state agrarian university".
The chairman of the Union of journalists of Stavropol Krai Vasily Vyacheslavovich Balditsyn noted that "we know that the Stavropol state agrarian university is widely opened to all kind, good, clever and it is, by the way, the only higher education institution in Russia which possesses two awards of the Government of Russia for quality".
On a ball membership cards to new members of journalistic community and medals of the Union of journalists of Russia "For merits before professional community" were handed over, and delivery of awards to winners and winners of competition of the regional journalistic organization of a name of Herman Lopatin for 2012 became the main event. Among awarded winners of competition: journalist Gennady Hazanov, the editor of department of policy of the "Stavropolskaya Pravda" newspaper Lyudmila Kovalevskaya, the correspondent of the "Stavropolskaya Pravda" newspaper to Lucina Vardanyan, authors of the creative project of "REN-STAVROPOL" TV company – the "5 questions" program Lyudmila Sokolova, Maxim Grevtsev and Sergey Nadein, the editor of department of the "Petrovskiye Vesti" newspaper Yury Elkhin, the editor-in-chief of the "Pyatigorskaya Pravda" newspaper Sergey Drokin, the editor-in-chief of the "Man's Character" magazine Zoe Vykhristyuk and others.
On a ball awards also were handed over to the winners of the journalists agrarian thematics competition of Ivan Zubenko's name, the former chairman of the Union of journalists of Stavropol Territory, untimely deceased.
Already for the second time on a ball of the press awards and to winners of the creative competition "Gold Helmet-2013" which regional fire-prevention and the rescue service carries out the third year in a row were handed over. Awards received 13 authors and the editorial collectives which have presented on competition the works, within a year most variously and systemically representing an activity of rescuers.
The Stavropol journalists on the VI ball of the press of Stavropol Krai handed over to the rector of the Stavropol state agrarian university, the corresponding member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev the diploma and an award "Press recognition" for constructive cooperation with regional and local mass media, ensuring information openness, active interaction with authorities in the solution of social and economic problems of Stavropol Krai.
The tradition of a journalistic ball was put in 2007 when the 90 anniversary of the oldest regional newspaper "Stavropolskaya Pravda" was celebrated. Every year the ball took place at different places, this year at the Stavropol state agrarian university, which rector Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev became is allways open for the press and shows desire to interact with journalists in closer mode.
