Students of agronomical and plants protection faculties of the Stavropol state agrarian university take educational and work practice on the basis of an educational experimental farm where they take classes in the following disciplines: botany, plant growing, agriculture, agrochemistry, phytopathology, entomology, protection of plants, selection, seed farming, agricultural cars, etc.
The practice helps students to study modern energy saving technologies, including No-till, to master the latest domestic and foreign agricultural machinery and tools, to receive skills of work with chemical means of protection of plants. Besides, students fulfill their theses researches on 8 stationary and 15 short-term field experiments and 2 research and production crop rotations.
