21 August 2013 in the SSAU in the framework of implementation of the state contract on the project «Modernization of the system of primary professional and secondary professional education for training specialists in the sphere of agriculture on the basis of the branch of the interregional resource center» held a seminar «Modernization of professional education in Russia: experience, practice and networking at the resource center of agrarian profile».
Opening the meeting, Vice-rector for academic and educational work I.V. Atanov welcomed the participants on behalf of the rector of the SSAU, member-correspondent of Russian Academy of agricultural Sciences, Professor V.I. Trukhachev. In his speech he praised the results of the regional resource center of the University and formulated the main issues.
The seminar was attended by more than 150 people. Among them were the heads, teachers and masters of industrial training institutions of primary and secondary professional education of the Stavropol and Krasnodar territories, Rostov and Astrakhan regions, and the republics of North Ossetia-Alania and Kalmykia.
At the session the reports were delivered by first Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Stavropol territory S.D. Ridny, head of the Department of pre-University professional education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Krasnodar region I.I. Nagnibeda, heads of secondary professional educational institutions of Kuban and Stavropol Scientific Research V. Pereverzev (Nevinnomyssk agrotechnical College), V.N. Shevtsov (Tikhoretsky industrial College), N.A. Gretchany (Labinsky agrarian technical school) and Deputy Director of the Kursavka`s regional College «Integral» Yu.V. Khvorostyansky.
There were three sections. The first - «State policy in the sphere of professional education in accordance with the requirements of the new law «On education in the Russian Federation». It was headed by the first Deputy Minister of education of Stavropol O.N. Romanenko.
The second section - «Networking of educational institutions: experience, problems, prospects, the organization of testing network of educational programs in the institutions, NGOs and the act». It was headed by Director of the Stavropol branch of the Interregional resource center of Agrarian University R.V. Debely. The main problems were considered by the Vice- heads on educational and scientific-methodical work of institutions of secondary and primary professional education, developers of network of educational programs and experts.
At the third section of the seminar lawyers and economists of the institutions of primary and secondary professional education discussed the problems of organization of procurement for needs of public institutions. Leader was the senior researcher of the Academic research laboratory of the SSAU M.V. Veselova.
