The annual training seminar for the first-year students of the Socio-cultural service and tourism faculty was organized on 12-13 of September. All students have visited the Kavkazskie Mineralnye Vody. The first city that they visited was the city-resort Pyatigorsk. The students went to « Intourist»hotel, where V.I. Mikhailenko, the President advisor of the specially protected areas of KMV, told about the hotel and restaurant industry and held a business game with them.
Further, students visited the city Essentuki resort, where they visited the largest in Europe, drinking gallery «five thousand metres high» on the basis of sanatorium «Viktoria», the first-year students tried many kinds of the mineral water: Yessentuki № 17, Essentuki № 4, Essentuki New. Also the students listened to a fascinating story about the properties of the mineral water.
The latest was the resort town Zheleznovodsk. They visited the sanatorium «Dubovaya rosha», where asked questions to one of the managers of the health resort. There was organized the excursion, demonstrating the willingness of the hotel to receive guests.
The trip was very fruitful - the first-year students in reality saw the details and peculiarities of their future profession.
