On September 29, 2013 three KVN teams of the Stavropol State Agrarian University took part in semi-finals of KVN league "Caucasus". Twelve teams from the Stavropol and Krasnodar Krai, the Republics of Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Northern Ossetia-Alania, Abkhazia competed for the right to reach the final in two games.
Among the fans there was Vladimir Vladimirov, acting as the governor of Stavropol Krai, who has come to the second game.
The head of the region addressed to the participants and the audience before the competition:
– KVN − is life. In this game many people were born, many - grew, many people realized themselves in the life. We see it on screens of TVs, we see it in life. I wish good luck to all participants of this evening, especially to the KVNs teams. Everybody worries, but I am sure, that they will be glad and remember this event for very long time. Bright game to KVN players! And to the audience I wish the remarkable impressions and, of course, victory of "your" team. I will be the fan of Stavropol team, − he told.
KVN players showed the skill in three competitions: "Greeting", "Warm-up" and "STEM".
The jury decision which structure included the captain of the KVN well-known team of the 2000th "the National team of Pyatigorsk" Simeon Slepakov, defined winners. Two teams of the Stavropol State Agrarian University «SSAU team" and "Elektrofak", on jury opinions, showed excellent game, but they didn't have enough points for an exit in the final which will take place in the end of this year.
To pleasure of all audience of game, the exit from this situation was offered by the new head of the region Vladimir Vladimirov.
– It is wrong to take away the holiday from those who deserved it. We consulted with jury and took the decision: two commands of the Stavropol State Agrarian University will make the National team and play in the final of KVN league "Caucasus", – he told to players and the audience.
The initiative was met by a loud applause.
