At the end of September 2013 the Stavropol State Agrarian University underwent procedure of recertification by results of which the new certificate of conformity of ecological management system of University according to the requirements of the Russian ISO 14001-2007 standard (ISO 14001:2004) "Systems of ecological management. Requirements and application guide" was received.
For the first time the University received the ecological certificate of conformity in 2010, but also today existence of the certified system of ecological management is single practice of educational institutions of North Caucasus Federal district.
The ecological certificate means that at the University all kinds of activity are corrected taking into account the principles of energy saving and rational environmental management − it ensures safety of the environment in which key processes of the University are carried out.
