From October 4 to October 6, 2013 in Yekaterinburg a traditional festival of power sports « the Gold Tiger-VII» multitournament devoted to the All-Russian day of athletes of power sports passed. About 3 000 athletes and more than 10 000 spectators took part in competitions. National and international champions, champions, Masters of sports of the international class, elite of the Russian and international sports of thirteen countries (including from the USA, India, Israel) took part in competitions.
Multitournament gold on powerlifting in category to 90 kg was won by the student of Economics faculty Shamal Murzabekov. And his trainer, the senior teacher of Physical culture and sport Nina Vyacheslavovna Mukhortova won two gold medals in category to 67 kg on powerlifting and in press lying.
Multitournament is the social, multimedia project of healthy lifestyle which was carried out annually within the Priority national Health project, under the motto "Healthy youth - strong Russia! ‘ The project is directed on formation of priority of healthy lifestyle, and, as a necessary condition, sports activities in the youth environment. Multitournament's purpose: successful socialization and effective self-realization of youth, for development of its potential in interests of Russia.
Multitournament contains the following disciplines: bodybuilding, fitness bikini, powerlifting, press of bar lying, power extreme, an armwrestling, an armlifting, mas-wrestling, hand-to-hand fight, fights without rules, kickboxing, workout, sambo, fighting sambo, greppling, ju-jitsu, kobudo, east force art, karate, force of blow, cross-fit, kettlebell sports, thriathlon, chirliding.
«The Gold Tiger –VII» multitournament is a qualifying tournament for participation at competitions on equipment press lying on a super tournament "Arnold - the Sport Festival-2014".
