The Stavropol State Agrarian University is awarded for big contribution to development of the higher agrarian education and participation in work of the international scientific conference on questions of veterinary surgery "Innovations, achievements in prevention and treatment of surgical diseases at animals". Rewarding took place within the conference which was during October 24-25, 2013 on the basis of the St. Petersburg state academy of veterinary medicine. Scientists from 15 higher education institutions of the Russian Federation, Belarus and Estonia, and also practising veterinarians of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region took part in conference.
In preparation to the conference the head of Physiology, surgery and obstetrics chair, Professor Kvochko Andrey Nikolaevich acted as the member of organizing committee. Also he brought to attention of participants the report in which there were questions of reparation surgery at animals, and also methodological aspects of development programs on disciplines "Operational surgery with topographical anatomy" and "The general and private surgery" according to FSOS in the specialty 111801 – Veterinary science.
