On November 9, 2013 in Stavropol the hand-to-hand fight championship of North Caucasus federal district passed. It was organized by the Ministry of sports of the Russian Federation and the all-Russian federation of hand-to-hand fight.
More than three hundred athletes from the whole North Caucasus took part in competition. As a result in weight category to 75 kg the victory was won by the student of the 4-th course of Economic faculty Vyacheslav Kotov. And the silver medal in a moneybox of higher education institution was brought by the student of the 1-st course of Economic faculty Karen Sardaryan who competed in weight category to 60 kg.
