On March 3, 2014 the conference of scientific and pedagogical workers and being trained took place at elections of the Rector of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.
The acting Rector, the Corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Agrarian Sciences, the Doctor of Economics, the Doctor of agricultural sciences, Professor Vladimir Trukhachev, unanimously put forward by labor collective and Professor of Finance, credit and insurance business chair, the Doctor of Economics, Professor Boris Doronin participating in elections on the basis of self-promotion applied for a position of the Head of Agrarian Higher Education Institution SSAU.
Both candidates according to operating order were approved by a certifying commission of the Ministry of Agriculture in Russian Federation.
By results of ballot 97,9% of delegates at the conference gave preference to the candidate Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev. In the election program he noted that a strategic objective of his Program of University’s development is formation on the basis of Higher education institution the advanced scientific and educational, analytical, consulting and design center in the field of agricultural sciences, being not only the engine of modernization in the system of higher education in Russia, but also making the significant practical contribution to innovative development and global competitiveness of Russia.
