University is proud by its graduates

In the History museum of the Stavropol State Agrarian University the excursions devoted to the famous University graduates passed within ten days .

Throughout all history of University (and in the past - agricultural institute) its many graduates took key positions in various spheres – social, economic, political. After all the Higher education institution was and remains lead educational institution in system of vocational training of qualified personnel.

Visitors of the museum − students of SSAU – got acquainted with biographies of graduates who made special contribution in development of agro-business of Stavropol Territory. They are real leaders of agro-industrial elite of Russia. Here some of them:

– Victor Ivanovich Sviridov, of Veterinary medicine faculty in 1972, Hero of Russia, Chairman of collective farm named by Voroshilov in the Trunovsky area;

– Alexander Alekseevich Shumsky, graduate of faculty Farm mechanization in1960, Hero of Socialist Work, Chairman of collective farm "Kazminsky" of the Kochubeevsky area;

– Ivan Andreevich Bogachev, graduate of Agronomy faculty in 1974, Hero of work on Stavropol Territory, Chairman of collective farm "Ternovsky" of the Trunovsky area.

Students learned about two famous graduates of faculty Farm mechanization in 1968 and 1977– Yury Vasilyevich Belyi – the Chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Krai of the V convocation and Alexander Akimovich Shiyanov – the Chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Krai of the II convocation.

Particular interest was given to Vasily Andreevich Moroz's biography – the graduate of Zooengineering faculty in 1961, Hero of Socialist Work, the Academician of the Russian academy of agricultural sciences, the winner of the award of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and techniques, the member of Council of elders at the Duma of Stavropol Krai, the Doctor of agricultural sciences, honored specialist in animal husbandry of RSFSR, Professor of chair Sheep breeding, large and small animal husbandry of the Stavropol State Agrarian University.

Thematic excursions are prepared by the manager of the History museum of the University O. N. Shmatko with the assistance of teachers of Philosophy and history chair S. B. Kalinchenko, E. V. Tufanov, I. N. Kravchenko, N. A. Kants.
