Stavropol State Agrarian University has received Certificate of Public International Professional Accreditation for 6 years

One of the leading Centers of accreditation in Russian National Center of Public Accreditation (Yoshkar -Ola) has officially announced that the clusters of educational programs 080000 Economics and Management ( 38.00.00 Economics and Management ) 110000 Agriculture and fisheries ( Agroengineering , Agronomy) ( 35.00.00 Agriculture, forestry and fisheries) , 110000 Agriculture and fisheries ( Veterinary and Animal Husbandry 36.00.00 ) 120000 Surveying and Land Management ( 21.00.00 Applied geology, mining , oil and gas and geodesy ) successfully passed an independent international professional public accreditation .

University is awarded by the Certificates for a period of 6 years , proving that the quality of the university clusters implemented educational programs, meet the standards and criteria of professional public accreditation , established in accordance with the European standards for quality assurance of education ESG-ENQA.

An external evaluation was conducted from 27 to 29 January 2014 , in this period, in the University 4 expert committee of the National Center of professional accreditation worked. They evaluated educational programs according to specific standards and criteria: quality assurance of education, periodic evaluation of educational programs , assess the level of knowledge / competencies of students , the level of competence of the teaching staff , the quality of learning resources , information systems and infrastructure to ensure the effectiveness of programs and public awareness about the educational programs and their achievements .

The Commission consists of recognized experts in their fields , representatives of Russian and foreign Universities of Armenia, Austria, the Netherlands, Romania, the Czech Republic, Estonia , key employers and representatives of students from Higher educational institutions of the North Caucasus Federal District.

In their final conclusions experts emphasized high cooperative spirit of the University, which is manifested in the dedication of staff, students and graduates of the values ​​, purposes and principles of the University , as well as students in the awareness of its corporate identity.

It should be recalled that any accreditation in education is an assessment of the quality of programs. State accreditation entitles University graduates to issue state diplomas, thereby confirming that the content and quality of the Federal government standards and requirements . Apart from the already familiar state accreditation by the new law "About Education in the Russian Federation" introduced the concept of professional public accreditation. It assesses whether the educational programs of the regional labor market needs and supports their success.
