First online seminar on ultrasound diagnosis of animal pathologies passed

The faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Stavropol State Agrarian University participated in the first in the Russian Federation online seminar on ultrasound diagnosis of animal pathologies. It was held by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine , Belgorod State Agricultural Academy named V. Ya.Gorin and company «DRAMINSKI» ( Poland) with the support of the EMO of Russian universities for Education in Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine , Department of Agribusiness in Belgorod region and Veterinary Department of the Belgorod region.

The main objective of the seminar - the exchange of experiences of leading experts on veterinary problems, introducing with advanced technology in the diagnosis , treatment and prevention of animal diseases .

The event was attended by more than ten higher educational agricultural universities in Russia. In particular, the participants listened to lecturers of Olshtinskiy University (Poland). The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Andrzej Yurchak gave a lecture on "The ultrasound diagnosis of diseases of small animals ", during which they discussed various methods of ultrasound examination of the reproductive system, abdominal, thoracic and pelvic cavities, thyroid dogs and cats. The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Alexandra Shchebet gave a lecture "The use of ultrasound diagnostics in swine reproduction ." She demonstrated the use of ultrasound in the study of the reproductive system of pigs, diagnosis of pregnancy and pathological conditions of the reproductive organs.
