Rally in honor of Victory Day was held in SSAU

In a festive and warm atmosphere in Stavropol State Agrarian University were held celebrations in honor of Victory Day. In the courtyard of the university gathered war veterans, who worked at our Agrarian University, students and teachers.

At first veterans were congratulated by soloists of national academic teachers and university staff choir, performing favorite military and patriotic songs. Addressing the veterans, he noted that "we have been gathering here for many years after the war. This tradition should never leave, it is here forever. "

In the framework of the "Victory Colours" Deputy Chairman of the Duma of Stavropol Krai Victor Lozovoy handed to Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University Vladimir Trukhachev and representatives from all faculties of the Soviet Union a copy of the flag waving in May '45 over the Reichstag. Now they will be kept on the faculties of the university.

Traditionally gathered to commemorate victims of the front of the university staff and students by a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument, Stela with names of heroes who gave their lives in the battle for the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War and brutally tortured and killed during the occupation of the city.
