Election commission members retrained their qualifications

The Institute of additional vocational training of the Stavropol State Agrarian University completed series of training seminars on «Conflict Management in the electoral process." It was attended by 1,440 members of district and territorial election commissions of all municipalities of the region.

During the week from 13 to 21 May six four-hour sessions were organized. Twice they were held in the cities of Stavropol and Mineral Waters and Svetlograd and village Stepnoye. They are teachers of the Department of Education, Psychology and Sociology of the University - its head Prof. S. Tarasov and Associate Professor E.V. Taranova - acquainted the participants with the techniques, the use of which will avoid conflict at polling stations in the organization of the people's will.

The initiator of the training workshop was the Election Commission of the Stavropol Territory.
