Rector SSAU became an honorary citizen of the Stavropol Territory

Decision of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory for high socially significant contribution to socio-economic development of the region and an active social life Rector of Stavropol State Agrarian University, corresponding member of Academy of Agricultural Sciences, professor, deputy Duma of Stavropol Territory awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stavropol Territory."

The ceremony took place in the conference hall of the Government of the Territory June, 11,2014.

Accepting congratulations, Vladimir Ivanovich noted that "getting this with gratitude in general, personal reward, just to say that to fully share it with my colleagues, friends and mentors on the Komsomol and party work and all people who were working with him for 26 years in Grachevsky area, with my family and friends and, no doubt, with twenty thousand team of staff and students of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. Together we walked long and hard toward a common goal and turned the university, was in 1999 one step away from bankruptcy in one of the country's best modern and innovative higher education institutions as to their financial means and conditions for conducting the educational process and personnel, quality training of future specialists in different sectors of the economy. Today declare that SSAU team, I like the rector, deputy of the Stavropol Territory, citizen and patriot of his homeland, and intend to continue to make a valuable contribution to the solution of the most urgent priorities and socio-economic development of the Stavropol region, to work for the strengthening and prosperity of our Fatherland! ".

Acting Governor of Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov completion ceremony expressed confidence that the work of people receiving awards today, "strengthens our country, making it more powerful and stronger."

Thus, Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev became the twenty-fourth person who was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Stavropol Territory." In addition, V.I. Trukhachev is the only head of the higher education institution of the Stavropol Territory, whose contribution to the development of the region is marked at such a high level.
