International Summer School «AgroTech - 2014"

The 2-nd year students of the Faculty Technological Management N. Dubasov, V. Kotova and 3-rd year of the Faculty Veterinary Medicine V. Vorobyova, Y. Tarasova, A. Hlebnikova, V. Klyushnikova participated in the International Summer School «AgroTech - 2014" on the theme "Effective management of dairy production in the conditions of the Russian market. "The event was held at the Kuban State Agrarian University from 17 to 25 June, 2014 with the support of «Pepsico», the participants were 30 best students who came from different cities of Russia: Rostov, Stavropol, Voronezh, Volgograd, Oryol, Irkutsk.

School program included practical classes with experts of dairy farming, visiting leading agricultural enterprises of Kuban, a trip to the sea. Its main aim is the teamwork on projects and their presentation. Master classes, trainings and lectures, which were taught by teachers of Kuban State Agrarian University, children learned to create project plans, acquainted with the latest developments of the University Cornell (USA) in the field of industrial milk production. Professor of the Department Mechanization of livestock and Safety V.P. Kovalenko told about modern dairy farms, clearly presenting analysis of milk production in the world and, in particular, in the Krasnodar region.

One of the Master-class was held at the Institute of Biotechnology and certification of food products. Participants were shown how to correctly determine the fat content of milk. They also visited the dairy factory and confectionery factory "Kuban". On the production line was a wide range of products, and specialists of enterprises conducted tours with an explanation of each process step of production. And of course, not without tasting delicious! Sweet was a master- class on making cheesecake dessert blancmange led by associate professor of animal products processing N.S. Voronova.

Also, the trip to the village Vityazevo, Anapa district was organized. On current issues and technologies for controlling the world market of milk and milk products the Dean of the Faculty of processing technologies A.I. Reshetnyak told interestingly. Lectures were informative and the Vice-Rector for International and External Relations T.N. Polutina on the theme "Effective management of the dairy farm" and "Calculation of business programs milk production." The training of Head of International and External Relations E.I. Naynodinova was really perfect. Students considered the psychological aspects of personal growth, leadership and practiced teamwork skills.

In Krasnodar, the participants visited the School of the dairy farm in studying farm "Krasnodarskoe". This sector is highly profitable, because here apply modern agricultural technology. Nicholai Dubasov had the opportunity to participate in the process of mechanized milking cows.

The week was busy and passed very fast. At the end the presentation of projects was carried out: the participants have developed and produced in practice new products, projects and economic parameters calculated and thought out, by what means and for, what target audience will promote the product on the market. Projects were carried out on "five plus." They were awarded with diplomas of advanced training and diplomas of participants of the International Summer School «AgroTech - 2014".
