On September 7, 2014 in Mikhaylovsk there was held an open regional championship on Bench Press. Participants came from Stavropol, Astrakhan, Volgograd, Vladikavkaz, Karachai-Cherkess Republic.
Absolute champion among women became Nina Mukhortova (lecturer of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Department of Physical Education and Sports), 2nd place was taken by Yana Kodzoeva (Vladikavkaz), 3rd place - Evgeniya Tsakhilova (Stavropol).
Cyrill Goldbert (Astrakhan) became the winner among men.
Girls also won in their categories: 1 place - Tatiana Medvedeva (Faculty of social and cultural service and tourism), 2nd place - Catherine Miroshnikova (Faculty of Accounting and Finance), 3rd place - Yuliya Kravchenko (Department of Economics).
Nina Mukhortova was officially recognized the world record holder on bench press. Congratulations and good health, good mood and always stay in fit form!
