Ring-Contest "Finance - Our Future"

On September 8, Day of financier, there was held a thematic competition for students of the Faculty of Accounting and Finance.

Teams competed in five contests. First they showed their homework, in which they presented their team, then there was a competition of scholars, in which students quoted verses and sayings of famous people about finances, as well as presented their arguments on this topic. The next step in the fight for victory was the implementation of analytical calculations and tasks. Captains also demonstrated their erudition participating in the quiz. The contest ended with a creative contest.

It was up to jury to determine the leaders of the competition, which included manager of the financial assets of JSC "Finam" Andrey Vlasenko, candidate of economic sciences, subdean of Accounting and Finance Faculty for Education Maria N. Tatarinova, candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor of the department "Finance, credit and insurance" Elena P. Tomilina, candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor of the department "Finance, credit and insurance" Julia E. Klishina, candidate of economic sciences, Associate Professor of the department "Finance, credit and insurance" Irina M. Podkolzina.

As a result, the team "Ruble of Brutus" won, (3rd year students of Accounting and Finance Faculty, profile "Finance and credit"), the second place – the team "Avantage" (3rd year students of Accounting and Finance Faculty, profile "Finance and credit"), the third one – the team «Wall Street» (4th year students of Accounting and Finance Faculty, profile "Finance and credit").

Winners in the individual competition became:

Catherine Kambarova, 3rd year student, group 10, Accounting and Finance Faculty received the title "Miss finance";

Alexei Anosov, 3-year student, group 8, Accounting and Finance Faculty was recognized the "Best captain";

award "for excellent knowledge of the theory of finance" was received by 3rd year student, 7 group, Accounting and Finance Faculty Margarita Grigoryan.
