Features of the Russian electoral system discussed by students of SSAU

On 9 and 10 September 2014, students of SSAU gathered to talk about the election law in the Russian Federation.

On the first day, the event was attended by the Faculty of Economics freshmen. They welcomed by senior lecturer of the department E.V. Tufanov. A report was held by acting Head of the Department of Philosophy and History N.G. Guzynin. The event was attended by associate professor of philosophy and history department V.I. Kurchev who actively participated in the event. Presentations were made by students of the Faculty of Economics: Anna Voronina, Mariam Eredzhepova Julia Tyutyunikova.

The next day, the electoral system in Russia and suffrage as a civic duty were discussed in the museum of the University. Professor I.I. Gulyak, Associate Professor N.A. Kants, head of the museum, O.N. Shmatko held reports for students of 2nd year of "Ecology and nature"direction of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture.

The events were organized by the staff of the department of philosophy and history.
